Cyber Scale is a web-based cybersecurity assessment platform designed to help
small and medium-sized businesses identify risks, evaluate vulnerabilities,
and improve their cybersecurity posture through a simple and structured system.
What is Cyber Scale?
Cyber Scale was created to simplify cybersecurity for small and medium-sized
businesses that may not have the resources, staff, or technical expertise to
perform formal cybersecurity assessments. The system translates complex
security concepts into an easy-to-use process that helps organizations better
understand their current security posture.
Through a guided assessment, users answer questions related to authentication,
employee training, system updates, backups, and general security practices.
The system then applies a weighted scoring model to calculate a risk level and
displays the results through a dashboard with recommendations for improvement.

Project Purpose
Cyber Scale was developed as a capstone project focused on creating a practical
Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The current implementation emphasizes core
functionality such as user login, assessment processing, risk score calculation,
and dashboard reporting. This allows the system to demonstrate how a structured
information system can support cybersecurity awareness and decision-making.
